I’m inspired to share with you that I’ll be speaking at The Embodied Educator Summit. This free online event brings together over 22 trailblazing global experts in embodiment and education who explore teaching in new ways that honor and nourish us, our students, and the world.
This summit is about shifting the paradigm of learning —What would it be like to create a sense of belonging in the classroom? What would it be like to engage our bodies? How might we be more embodied as educators, and bring this essential learning to our students? I’m thrilled to be joining with a community of other educators, therapists, coaches, and visionaries exploring these questions–which have been central to my work for decades!
Each of the presenters share practical, heartfelt ways to make teaching more sustainable, engaging, and deeply fulfilling. Join me in conversation with our host, Liz Wientjes, to learn more about my approaches to embodiment, both for educators in my teacher trainings, as well as for teens and young adults as presented in my book, The Embodied Teen.
Here are just some of the topics to be covered by me and other inspiring presenters during these twelve days:
- Discover how nervous system health pivots all learning
- Nourish our embodied selves –voice & soul & heart
- Reignite your passion for teaching while preventing burnout
- Learn to embody equity and recognize marginalization
- Explore the impact of technology on our bodies and education
- Reconnect with the earth through movement
- And much more!
If you can’t attend live, when you register for this free event you’ll have access to each recorded session for 48 hours after it airs. In The Embodied Educator Summit, you’ll get a variety of embodied resources to draw from. I hope this can provide you with support and fresh resources to enhance your own life and inspire your teaching in challenging times.
See you there!
Susan
