“Practicing the Dharma alone is like trying to sweep a room with a broom that only has a single bristle. But practicing in a group gives much more power to the practice, like sweeping with a full broom.”

Meditation for Clarity and Balance in Everyday Life
In individual sessions and group classes, Susan teaches people to use meditation in concrete, practical ways for gaining insight into daily interactions, making decisions based on clarity vs. fear, and discerning the goals that are most aligned with our deeper spiritual purpose. From understanding the chakra system, we can both recognize our strengths, and strengthen our areas of weakness. This brings greater balance within ourselves, as well as in our interactions with others.
This approach is based on Ellen Tadd’s work as described in her book, The Wisdom of the Chakras: Tools for Navigating the Complexity of Life, which has gotten rave reviews on Amazon and has created invitations for Ellen to present nationally at such places as Omega Institute. Susan has studied with Ellen since 1989.
Testimonials for Meditation
What folks have to say about this meditation practice:
“What a tremendous gift I’ve been given: when my feelings threaten to overwhelm me, or my whole being is in what I call a “gray state”, I have the means to go inside myself and take a clear-eyed look at what’s troubling me, and to see a different possibility. Thank you, Susan, with all my heart.”
-Effie D.
“This meditation practice continues to bring a deeper sense self awareness in my daily life. Meditation has become something I crave, like a shower or a good meal. By consistently tapping into the wellspring of the meditative state through inspiration and affirmation, I feel spiritually cleansed, nourished, and connected with a greater whole. After meditating with Susan for even a few months, I feel more spaciousness and presence in my day to day interactions– with my son, my husband, and the lady in the grocery store!”
-Nicole S.
“In our work together—especially the meditation process you modeled and taught me—I gained renewed trust in myself and insight into my behavior. Some time has passed since our work together, and the true depth of your help is daily becoming more apparent. The greatest gift is the capacity to actually learn from experiences I am having and thus truly move forward in my life.”
